In school, when you're asked what you want to be when you grow up, my answer was always "A Writer."
Years went by and my choices changed, dreams got forgotten, and I gave up on the idea that I could do it.
But just because I moved on from my dream, doesn't mean I can't choose to go back to it.
So that's what I've done.
I'm a mum of two boys both under the age of five, who's decided it's time to do something I've always wanted. Always believed I could do.
And with the undying support and encouragement from my husband, I've managed to fulfil younger me's dream.
This story is not pretty, it's not easy. But the same can be said about life.
We all battle the darkness at some point.
It's what we do in that situation that matters.
